I’m still a beginner, so I didn’t want anything too advanced or confusing, and this feels like it fits where I’m at. It’s been easy enough for me to use without getting overwhelmed, which is nice because I’m still figuring things out...

My kid gets so excited every time this box shows up. At this point, I just assume he’s going to tear it open right away because that’s pretty much the pattern every month. It’s been a really fun thing for him to look forward to.

I’m giving it 4 stars because the billing was easy enough to follow. The price and renewal date were shown clearly before I paid, and I got an email receipt right after. Compared to some other services I’ve used, it didn’t feel like they were trying to hide fees or sneak in extra charges, which I appreciated. So far, no surprises on the bill. My only complaint is that the cancel option could be easier to find in the account settings, but overall it felt straightforward.

I didn’t expect much at first, but the lessons really did make sketching feel way easier. Like, I’m not imagining it, am I? I actually feel more confident now.

I ended up having to cancel my box, mostly because I’m trying to cut back on random monthly stuff right now. Somehow subscriptions add up so fast, like one minute it’s snacks and streaming and the next you’re wondering where your money went. Anyway, the actual canceling part was surprisingly quick. No weird runaround, no extra hoops, no annoying “are you really sure?” process that takes forever. Just got it done and moved on with my day.

I tried SketchBox as someone who’s still new to art, getting the box was really fun. It felt exciting opening it up and seeing new supplies, like pens, markers, pencils, paints, little tools, stuff I probably wouldn’t have picked out on my own. But once I had everything in front of me, I sometimes had that “okay... now what?” feeling. The supplies themselves seemed nice, and I liked experimenting with them for doodles, shading, random sketches, testing colors, making little warm-up pages, things like that. I just wish there were clearer instructions or more beginner-friendly project ideas, like a step-by-step drawing, a simple prompt, examples of what each item is good for, or even a few “try this first” suggestions. It’s not a bad box at all, and I can see it being great if you already know what you’re doing, but as a total newbie, I felt a little lost here and there

The customization is okay. I liked having some options to play around with, but at the same time, it felt kind of limited and a little disappointing. It’s not bad at all, though—just could definitely use more choices.

I ordered from getsketchbox and it show up way faster than I thought it would. The tracking was easy to follow, and the box came looking good with no damage or anything. Didn’t really had any delivery issues at all, so I’m happy with how fast it got here

I always check the corners and packaging first since that usually tells you how the rest of it went, and this one looked great. Everything was clean, packed nicely, and nothing showed up damaged.

I had a smooth time using SketchBox. The site is laid out in a way that makes it easy to find the different box options and pricing without digging around, which saved me time. Checkout was straightforward too, and I liked that I could quickly see what I was getting before ordering. A couple of pages were a little slow to load, and I did have to go back once to double-check some details, but overall it was easy and practical to use. I’d use it again.

I like that it’s flexible and easy to pause when I need to. No hassle or extra back-and-forth, which I appreciate.

The markers were actually nice and worked well, but the paper felt kind of cheap. It wasn’t a huge deal, just a little disappointing and preventable if they’d included better-quality paper.

My SketchBox order showed up on time, so I’ll give them that, but the packaging wasn’t great. The outside box had a noticeable dent, and one corner looked crushed, which made me a little nervous opening it.

Thankfully nothing was actually broken, but a couple of the items were loose inside and definitely could’ve used better protection. I also had to wait in a queue forever just to get help about it, which was frustrating. Not a total disaster, just not the experience I was hoping for.

I grabbed SketchBox when I was feeling stuck and kind of bored with the same things I always use. It actually gave me a few fresh ideas, which was nice. Not everything in it was totally my style, and a couple things I probably won’t use much, but... it did get me sketching again. So yeah, decent overall.

I’ve ordered a few SketchBox boxes now, and so far the delivery has been solid. Most of them showed up right on time, and one was only a couple days late, which didn’t really bother me.

The tracking usually works fine, even if it pauses for a bit sometimes before updating. Overall, I’m happy with it and feel like I can count on the box to show up without having to follow up.

I’ve been really happy with my SketchBox. Opening it reminds me of being a kid and getting excited over new art supplies, that same little spark of wanting to try everything right away. The quality has been great, and I love that it includes things I probably wouldn’t think to buy for myself. Shipping was totally fine too. It’s just become this nice monthly treat that gives me a reason to slow down and make something, and I don’t really have any complaints.

My box arrived in good shape, so no issues there. The only thing was the tracking didn’t really update until the last day, which made it hard to know where it was. Support did reply when I reached out, so that helped. Just a heads-up for anyone ordering: don’t panic if the tracking looks stuck for a while, but it would definitely be nicer to get updates sooner.

I wasn’t totally sure this would be a hit, but my artsy niece was genuinely excited when she opened it. She draws all the time, so it actually turned out to be a really nice gift idea. I have to admit, it was a good pick.

I’ve tried SketchBox a few times now, it’s not terrible. Some months had cool little surprises I probably wouldn’t have grabbed on my own, so I did have fun messing around with those.
That said, the variety can be hit or miss. A couple boxes felt like the same old copy-paste nonsense, with items that were way too similar to stuff I’d already gotten before. I was hoping for more interesting tools or different brands, not a bunch of repeat-feeling filler.
It’s fine if you just want to try random art supplies, but it doesn’t always feel exciting. I might order again if the mix looked more fresh, but as it is, some months feel a little lazy.
